Pench Wildlife Guide — Madhya Pradesh

Pench Tiger Reserve straddles Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra and is the setting that inspired Kipling's Mowgli stories. It's known for excellent wild dog (dhole) sightings alongside its tiger population. Home to Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog (Dhole), Gaur, Nilgai. Best time to visit: Oct – Jun.
